About Us

Marie McCullough - Founder

The Agency was founded in 1946 by Marie McCullough at the request of the Atlantic City Convention Bureau now known as the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority. The ACCVA needed a model agency to supply programs, entertainment and models to meet the needs of it's growing Convention and Trade Show business thus McCullough Models was incorporated. The McCullough agency provides thousands of fashion shows, tours, programs and models for exhibitors and organizations.

Marie McCullough was also instrumental in bringing casino gaming to Atlantic City. The city was so grateful for her contributions that they renamed the only skybox in Boardwalk Hall the Marie McCullough VIP Lounge. Upon her passing an editorial in the Press of Atlantic City called her the First Lady of Atlantic City.

The McCullough Family tradition continues today with her children involved in several business, charitable and civic organizations. Her son, Bill McCullough, took over as CEO of McCullough Models assisted by his sister Maria McCullough Lange and sister-in-law Georgene McCabe McCullough. Her eldest son James is the former State Senator from New Jersey's second Legislative District and currently serves as Mayor of Egg Harbor Township, N.J. Ms. McCullough's grandfather Anthony Ruffu was Mayor of Atlantic City when Boardwalk Hall was dedicated in 1929.
